Advantages of using Growth Factor Serums

Enhancing the effect of the Micro-Needling / Microchanneling. The addition of the targeted and specific Growth Factors in our serum enhances the effect of the micro needling by ensuring that the correct messages are delivered to the right cells in the area of initial trauma.
The healing process is launched through the production of Growth Factors which tell cells such as fibroblasts to re-grow the skin through a process called epithelialization. This results in extra collagen and other skin components in the area of trauma, which will strengthen the skin and improve the skin texture.
Plan to deliver extra passes and serum in those areas of concern to achieve optimal results.
STEPS:
- Cleanse the face to fully removing all makeup, and then prep the skin with a disinfectant such as isopropyl alcohol before microchanneling.
- Wash hands and put on protective gloves. If needed, fasten a headband or a hair elastic on the patient to keep hair out of the way.
- Open the sterile pouch containing the Empress microchanneling applicator.
- Next open the vial of the Skingenuity serum and pour into your Empress vial then re-attach your applicator tip to the vial.
- Begin treating the face in small sections using a gentle, repeating stamping motion. For best results, use your fingers to pull skin tight as you are stamping so the applicator tips will penetrate evenly.
- Once you have completed your stamping of areas of treatment, it is typical your skin will appear to take on the appearance of a light pink to slight red pink color similar to a light sun burn which indicates you have reached an optimal response. You may go over areas of the face 2-3 passes until you reach desired pinkish appearance to the skin. The slight pinkish color to the skin may take 3-5 minutes to appear after treatment.
- For the next 3 – 4 hours, DO NOT apply anything including sun screen, moisturizers, and all makeup. You should also avoid direct sunlight for the remainder of the day.
- Post-care Cellular Renewal & Healing Accelerator Serum included in your treatment package.
Apply twice daily at home to enhance results. Starting 24 hours after treatment.
Thoroughly cleanse treated areas and apply Cellular Renewal Serum (Step 1)
Wait 30 seconds and apply Healing Accelerator Serum (Step 2)
Wait for serums to fully absorb before applying any other product to treated area.
