QUANTITY

Eclipse Micropen™ can be used on all parts of the body; Face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back.

Epidermal Collagen Induction Therapy (ECIT) can stimulate the skin’s natural ability to heal itself. As a result, new collagen and elastin produce softer, firmer skin and can reduce the appearance of wrinkles, acne scars and textural issues. Typically, the skin has a nice glow immediately following an Eclipse MicroPen micro-needling session. Results can be observed in as early as 30 days.

Eclipse Micropen® Elite Advantages

Safety First.

The Eclipse MicroPen® Elite is inherently safer than other products. It utilizes sterile single-use surgical grade disposable cartridge tips. The MicroPen® delivers greater efficiency and superior clinical results while maintaining the highest level of safety for the patient. It is also safe for most skin types, which means it is a great procedure for almost everyone!

Faster is Better.

The rapid pen motion provides a more comfortable experience that patients describe as a mild sandpaper-like sensation.

Customized For You.

Each patient has unique skin needs and requirements. The variable pen position feature allows Brandon Dermatology’s  MicroPen® professionals to customize a treatment for best results.

Long Term Results.

Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months after the treatment.

What is automated Micro-Needling?

Automated Micro-Needling (also known as Epidermal Collagen Induction Therapy or ECIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and the improvement of the skin’s texture, tone and color. During this procedure, the Eclipse MicroPen® is used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to aid in the production of collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process results in a thicker epidermis with a softer appearance of wrinkles. Eclipse MicroPen® Elite also creates micro-channels which allow topical gels, creams and serums to be absorbed more effectively, enhancing the effects in deeper layers of the skin.

Eclipse MicroPen® Elite can be used on all parts of the body: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back. After treatment, you will notice a bright redness to the skin. However downtime is minimal on average, patients experience redness for 2-4 days. Some patients heal completely in 24 hours.

What are the Benefits?
Reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, improved skin tone and texture and softer, younger-looking skin with fewer signs of aging. MicroPen® Elite can help improve the appearance of hyper-pigmentation as well as uneven skin tone, acne scars, traumatic scars, and stretch marks.

What areas of the body can I treat?
MicroPen® Elite can be used on all parts of the body, including the: face, neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and back.

How is the procedure done?
A sterile cartridge-tip containing 12 tiny micro-tips is attached to the Eclipse MicroPen® Elite. Your skincare professional will apply a thin layer of topical gel to your skin and select the appropriate treatment pen seeing based on your unique needs. Next, in a single motion, the pen will be gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered.

What does it feel like?
The feeling associated with the Eclipse MicroPen® Elite is similar to sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating cartridge tip makes the treatment more comfortable.

How long does the procedure take?
The procedure takes 15-30 minutes, depending on the size of the area treated.

What is the downtime?
Immediately after the treatment, you will notice a bright redness to the skin. The total recovery time depends on the position of the pen, and the number of overlapping passes your skincare professional performs. On average, patients are red for 2-4 days. Some patients heal completely in 24 hours. Utilizing the Eclipse Dermal Recovery System™ post-treatment can speed up the healing process.

When will I see results?
Patients notice an immediate “glow” to their skin. Visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Results can continue to improve up to 6 months after the treatment as collagen production continues.

How many treatments will I need?
Some patients only require a single treatment once a year to achieve optimal results. However, it is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 2-3 treatments spaced about 6-8 weeks apart. For patients with concerns about deep wrinkles, advanced photo-aging, stretch marks or acne scars, it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at 6-week intervals.

What is the healing time?
The total healing time from an Eclipse MicroPen® Elite procedure depends on the pen position used and the number of overlapping passes your skincare professional performs. On average, patients experience redness for two to four days. Some patients heal completely within 24 hours. Most patients report noticing a redness to the skin following the procedure.

The MicroPen® Elite is a medical-grade automated micro-needling device designed to improve the appearance of facial acne scars. Advancing the industry-setting standard in micro-needling, the Elite offers physicians a customizable tool to help exceed patient expectations and produce a healthy bottom line for their practice. The Elite allows physicians to select the exact depth for each patient’s skin type and condition, using robotic precision to go as deep as 2.0 millimeters at 0.1-millimeter increments. The MicroPen® Elite’s patented cartridge design prevents the entrance of fluids into the device which, along with the MicroSleeve and routine cleaning, help to reduce the risk of cross-contamination of the unit between uses.

Automated Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for the treatment of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance. During this procedure, tiny needles are used to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process results in a thicker dermis with the appearance of softer wrinkles. Eclipse Micropen™ also creates superficial micro-channels which allow topical gels, creams and serums to be absorbed more effectively into the skin.
