Directions for Use:

Not all HA Serums are created equal.

We recommend the use of PURA HA Serum for Precutaneous Collagen Induction Therapy (a.k.a. – Microneedling).

Our products are specifically formulated for these procedures because of the viscosity of the product which acts as a Glide and feels like a Gel so it does not dissolve into the skin as quickly as other HA Serums available in the marketplace.   You will notice the difference in your patient’s comfort during the coarse of treatment,  resulting with less irritation or redness following the procedure.

Apply a generous amount to the skin surface prior to procedure.
Re-apply as needed during the procedure to ensure the needles do not stick and catch on the skin.

Individual Sized PURE HA Serum (part# AHA12) May be provided to your patient to take home to ensure their skin stays Hydrated following their treatment.

HA is used to aid in moisturizing the skin in conjunction with skin procedures, such as micro-needling. After a procedure, applying PURE HA can help deliver deep nourishment to the skin.

What Is Hyaluronic Acid and Why Is It Important?
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is available in serums, creams, supplements and injectables and is a very important part in keeping your skin young. HA actually occurs naturally in our skin but less of it is produced as we age. Hyaluronic acid plays a critical role in skin health with its unique ability to hold in moisture (1000 ml of water per gram of hyaluronic acid). As we age, skin moisture can drop significantly, which makes the skin lose elasticity and prone to additional aging. Just like the collagen loss, when hyaluronic acid levels drop, the skin has less support.
Additionally, one of the most skin damaging elements are UVB rays from the sun. Hyaluronic acid benefits the skin as it protects the skin from UVB rays which can cause sunspots. Our bodies are constantly making and absorbing HA, but we just don’t make as much of it as we once did. This degenerative effect reduces structure and volume from the face, causing wrinkles and folds to become more pronounced
